ACC grills Ex-Housing sec

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday interrogated former Housing and Public Works Secretary Dr Khondaker Showkat Hossain and three others in connection with irregularities in Rajuk plot distribution. ACC deputy director Jatan Kumar Roy started grilling them at about 10 am and continued it till 1:30 pm at the ACC head office, sources at the Commission said. The three others who faced interrogation today are director general of Non-Formal Education Bureau Akhter Hossain Bhuiyan (former DCC North administrator), joint secretary of Food Ministry Mahbubul Alam (then Rajuk member, development) and former Rajuk member (planning) Anwarul Islam Shikder, according to UNB.
