ACC grills Khandaker Mosharraf\\\'s wife

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC0 has interrogated the wife of Dr Khandaker Mosharraf Hossain in course of its investigation against the former minister on charges of money laundering. Investigators quizzed Bilkis Akhter Hossain, wife of the BNP leader, for about two hours after she showed up at the ACC’s Segunbagicha office at 10am on Tuesday. BNP standing committee member Mosharraf has been in prison ever since his arrest on March 12. The ACC said there is evidence against him and his wife in siphoning off Tk 90 million when Mosharraf was health minister during the 4-party alliance government (2001-2006). The money was allegedly parked at Lloyd’s TSB Offshore Private Bank in London. The case was filed on February 6 this year, according to bdnews24.com.
