ACC launches probe against DGFP director

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has initiated a probe against a director of Directorate General of Family Planning (DGFP) for allegedly amassing illegal wealth. The Commission at its recent meeting decided to launch probe against DGFP director (Admin) Mahbubur Rahman, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya said. ACC assistant director Abu Bakar Siddique has already been appointed inquiry officer to conduct the probe into his alleged graft. According to the graft allegations received by the national anti-graft body, Mahbubur Rahman has amassed huge illegal wealth misusing his power and involving in various graft acts, according to a news agency.
