ACC launches probe against Jibon Bima MD

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) launched a probe on Tuesday against Zahurul Haque, managing director (MD) of Jibon Bima Corporation, in the wake of allegations against him of recruitment trade by leaking questions in various cases of appointment, reports UNB.
Assistant Director of ACC co-ordinated Office, Dhaka-1 Mohammad Neyamul Ahsan Gazi launched a probe against Zahurul Haque, MD of Jibon Bima Corporation, in the wake of the allegations received by the ACC Enforcement Unit.
During the operation, the ACC team visited the office on the spot and collected several records including questions and answer sheets of recruitment tests.
In this context, the statements of the concerned officials including the MD and Director (Administration) had been recorded.
The ACC team will submit a full report to the commission to take effective action after collecting more information, evidence and records to find out the truth.
ACC received complaints that he had made more than Tk 400 million.
The organisation took exams to appoint 512 employees in different posts recently.
