ACC launches probe against Padma director

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a probe into the graft allegation against managing director of Padma Oil Company Limited M Abul Khair. Earlier, the Commission received an allegation of amassing wealth illegally against Abul Khair, and the ACC at a recent meeting decided to probe it, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattachrya said. On Wednesday, the anti-graft body appointed its deputy director Ahsan Ali as an inquiry officer to conduct the probe against Abul Khair, according to UNB.
