ACC launches probe against Rajuk chief building inspector

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) launched Wednesday a probe into the graft allegation against the chief building inspector of Rajuk (Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha).
The Commission in its regular meeting decided to launch a probe against Rajuk chief building inspector M Ilias Hossain and some others on graft charges, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
According to the graft allegations received by the ACC, Ilias got promotion showing fake certificates and accumulated huge illegal wealth taking bribe from Rajuk clients, said sources at the Commission.
ACC has already appointed its assistant director Amirul Islam to conduct inquiry into the graft allegation against the Rajuk officials.
