ACC launches probe against Ruhul Amin Hawlader

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a probe into the allegation of illegal wealth accumulation by Jatiya Party secretary general ABM Ruhul Amin Hawlader.
The Commission at its regular meeting Wednesday decided to conduct probe into graft allegation against the Jatiya Party leader, ACC public relations officer Pranab Kumar Bhattacharya told UNB.
According to a graft allegation received by the ACC recently, Hawlader’s business firm –- KR Fashion — has a huge amount of land at Kuakata Beach in Patuakhali district. But, the land was not mentioned in the affidavit he submitted to the Election Commission before the 10th parliamentary polls, according to a news agency.
