ACC now gives clean chit to AL MP Enamul

In another controversial decision, the Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has relieved Awami League MP Enamul Haque of graft charges. The Commission recently cleared the ruling party MP from the allegation of illegal wealth accumulation worth Tk 21.3 billion, an ACC senior official said. He said the anti-graft national body also decided to send relevant documents to the National Board of Revenue (NBR), asking it to look after the allegation of tax evasion by Enamul, an MP from Rajshshi-4 constituency, according to a news agency.
