ACC seeks list of cars of 2,500cc or above

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) on Wednesday sought a list of privately owned cars having engine power of 2,500 CC or above from Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA).
In this regard, the commission has sent a letter to the chairman of BRTA, signed by the director general of special enquiry and investigation unit Abdun Nur Muhammad Al Firoz, according to ACC public relations department.
In the letter, ACC asked BRTA to provide it with the list of private cars of different types, registered in last five years, having engine capacity of 2,500 cc or above.
The national anti-graft authority requested BRTA to deliver detailed information of the luxury cars including - engine number/chassis number, car model, import date, type of car, registration number, price of the car, VAT and tax information, owner's name and address.
The commission asked BRTA to deliver the information as soon as possible to it.
