ACC starts examining FF certificates of its own 9 officials

The Anti Corruption Commission (ACC) has launched a fresh move to examine freedom fighter (FF) certificates of its 9 officials, including a director general, on completion of a probe against 6 senior government officials who managed FF certificates without fulfilling the requirements. ‘The Commission has decided to launch a probe to examine the FF certificates of ACC director general (legal) Kamrul Hasan Mollah, its directors Golam Yahiya and Aziz Bhuiyan, deputy directors Dali Abdus Samad and SM Golam Mowla Siddique, former deputy director Ranjan Kumar Majumder, assistant inspector Abdus Sobhan, and court assistants Nurul Islam and Ishaque Fakir,’ ACC commissioner M Shahabuddin said. The probe aims at finding out how they managed the FF certificates. The decision came at a monthly meeting of the commission. ACC Chairman M Badiuzzaman and its 2 commissioners M Shahabuddin and Dr Nasir Uddin Ahmed were present, according to a news agency.
