ACC sues ex-minister Nurul Majid, wife

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has filed two cases against former industries minister Nurul Majid Mahmud Humayun
and his wife on charges of amassing illegal wealth worth around TK 950 million and suspicious transactions exceeding Tk 1.02 billion, reports UNB.
ACC Director General Md. Akhtar Hossain said this at a press briefing on the premises of ACC headquarter in the capital on Tuesday.
According to the ACC Nurul Majid, former MP from Narsingdi-4, has been accused of acquiring assets worth TK 7.94 crore that are inconsistent with his known sources of income.
