ACC to probe land grab charge by Firoz Rashid

The Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) has decided to investigate an allegation of encroachment of land in Dhanmondi by Jatiya Party lawmaker Kazi Firoz Rashid.
ACC in its regular meeting on Monday decided to investigate the allegation.
The anti-corruption watchdog appointed ACC Deputy Director Md Julfiqar Ali as investigation officer and Director Nur Ahammad as Supervisory Officer in the investigation.
According to ACC officials, Kazi Firoz Rashid encroached a piece of land behind Dhaka City College in Dhanmondi area by fabricating documents and put a signboard there.
Having received information, ACC decided to investigate the allegation.
ACC will summon Kazi Firoz Rashid to be present at its headquarters along with documents within this week.
