Accept nomination of BNP candidate Rabbani: HC

The High Court (HC) directed on Monday the Returning Officer (RO) of Rangpur district to accept nomination paper of BNP-nominated candidate Prof Golam Rabbani for Rangpur-5 constituency, reports UNB.
An HC bench of Justice Sheikh Hassan Arif and Justice Rajik Al Jalil passed the order.
Rabbani's lawyer Shishir Monir said when Golam Rabbani went to the returning officer to submit his nomination paper, the RO wasted time without any reason and finally did not accept his nomination paper.
