Accused dies in police custody

FARIDPUR, Sept 4 (-UNB) : An arrested person accused in a land-related case died in police custody in Nagarkanda upazila early on Friday.
 The deceased was identified as Nur Mohammad Munshi, 35, a resident of Dakkhin Beel area of Nalia village in the upazila.
 Afsar Uddin, officer-in-charge of Nagarkanda Police Station, said following an arrest warrant issued by a local court, police arrested Nur Mohammad and his brother Nurul Islam, 30, in connection with a land related case. On the way to police station, Nur Mohammad fell sick and was admitted to Faridpur Medical College Hospital where doctors declared him dead around 12 am.
