Accused in Lokman murder remanded for ten days

NARSINGDI, Nov 16: The chief judicial magistrate of Narsingdi granted ten days remand to FIR accused Ashraf Hossain Sarker today for interrogation in mayor Lokman Hossain murder case.
According to court sources, the investigation officer with the help of armed police and thana police sent Ashraf Hossain to the chief judicial magistrate's court at about 12.33 pm today.
Court Inspector Abdul Kaiyum took part in hearing on behalf of government and the investigation officer submitted remand prayer to the magistrate's court in Lokman murder case. After hearing Chief Judicial Magistrate Nitai Chandra Saha granted ten days' remand. No lawyer took part in the hearing in favour of accused Ashraf Hossain Sarker.
The DB police said Ashraf Hossain Sarker was arrested by DMP from Shahjahanpur area of Dhaka on November 14 midnight and yesterday whole day the DMP interrogated him and on November 15 night at about 11.00 DMP handed him over to Narsingdi DB police.
