ACI Director RI Khan passes away

ACI Limited Director Rafiqul Islam Khan expired Sunday (September 30) in India, said a press release.
He is survived by his wife Hasina Momtaz, a renowned singer, and only son Shibli Rubayatul Islam, assistant professor of Banking Department of the University of Dhaka, and two grandsons.
Late RI Khan was with National Bank Ltd since its inception, and was the bank's managing director until his retirement.
He served as general manager of Durrani International Exchange of Kuwait, director of Gulf Overseas Exchange LLC of Oman, and director of Nepal Arab Bank Ltd.
He was the treasurer of the Dhaka University Geography Alumni Association, and the vice-president of the Volley Ball Federation.
