ACI, FAO explore collaboration in agriculture sector

ACI Limited recently organised a seminar on "To See the Future Development Collaboration with Private Organisation and Development Organisation" in the city.
Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) Representative in Bangladesh Ad Spijkers attended the seminar as the chief guest.
ACI Agribusiness Executive Director FH Ansarey welcomed Ad Spijkers at the ACI Centre, while ACI Chairman M Anis Ud Dowla was present in the seminar along with other officials of both the organisations.
Mr Spijkers expressed his view about the future collaboration between the private organisation and the development organisation to ensure progress in the agricultural sector in the greater interest of the country's farmers.
He added that FAO contributed to various projects for development of agriculture in Bangladesh.
Mr Ansarey described the activities of ACI Agribusinesses in different fields of the agricultural sector across the country.
He said, "ACI's mission 'Help Feed Bangladesh' will ensure food security in Bangladesh".
The seminar ended with high hopes for Bangladesh in agricultural sector.
