Acting Indian HC meets LGRD Adviser

Acting Indian High Commissioner in Bangladesh Mukta Dutta Tomar met Local Government Rural Develop-ment and Cooperatives Adviser M Anwarul Iqbal at his office in the city Wednesday, reports UNB.
During the meeting, they discussed different aspects of the forthcoming Second South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Conference of Home Ministers in New Delhi.
They also discussed matters of mutual interest.
Apart from participation in the conference, the adviser also expressed his desire to visit the milk-collection centre and processing system of Ananda Milk Union Ltd (AMUL), which brought about a revolution in India's milk sector.
The acting high commissioner assured him of taking necessary steps in this connection.
The LGRD adviser will lead a nine-member Bangladesh team to the Second SAARC Conference of Home Ministers to be held in the Indian capital between October 23 and October 25.
