Activities through Benapole land port resumes

BENAPOLE, Oct 3 (UNB): Export and import activities through Benapole land port resumed Sunday morning after one day halt.
Customs Cargo Inspector of Benapole check-post Fazlur Rahman said the export-import activities started in full swing from this morning.
Earlier, export and import activities between Bangladesh and India through the land port was suspended Saturday as the India government observed the day as holiday on the occasion of 141st birthday of Mahatma Gandhi.
Aminul Islam, director (Traffic) of the Port Said hundreds of goods laden truck remained stranded at Petrapole port due to the halt.
