Actor Shimul sued in Ctg

Popular silver screen actor and model Manir Khan Shimul has been sued for nonpayment of rent of a hall room of Chittagong Club Limited. The management of Chittagong Club filed the case with Chittagong Model Police Station in the port city on Tuesday. According to the case statement, Shimul rented the hall room of Chittagong Club’s Swimming Pool on December 16, 2013, for several days for his personal use. However, he did not pay the amount, agreed by him to be paid to the management of Chittagong Club as rent of its poolside hall room. After giving reminder to the artiste several times to pay the unpaid money, Secretary of Chittagong Club AM Arifur Rashid filed the case with the police station yesterday afternoon, according to a news agency.
