Acute manpower shortage in Nilphamari hospitals

NILPHAMRI, June 24: There is an acute manpower shortage in the district Adhunik hospital and upazila health complexes of Nilphamari district and as a result of which health situation and service has decreased alarmingly. Nilphamari district Adhunik Hospital has been upgraded from 50 beds to 100 beds and all 7 upazila health complexes has been upgraded from 30 beds to 50 beds but requisite manpower including nurses and other staff did not increase to operate those properly. When contacted RMO of Nilphamari District Hospital Moazzem Hossain said we placed requisition officially but we can do no more than this.
