AD Ports and Saif Powertec sign MoU to work on port projects in Bangladesh

CHATTOGRAM, June 26: AD Ports Group, one of the world's leading facilitators of global trade, logistics, and industry, and Saif Powertec Ltd have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to potentially cooperate in operational projects and projects under development in Bangladesh.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of AD Ports Group Captain Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi and Managing Director of Saif Powertec Tarafder Md Ruhul Amin signed the MoU at the office of AD Ports Group in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Under the MoU, both parties will explore ways to conduct joint activities and work on the development of ports, container depots and logistics facilities in Chattogram, Mongla and Dhaka.
Both parties will establish a joint working group to share expertise, studies, strategies, technical assistance, and the implementation of joint activities.
Managing Director and CEO AD Ports Group Capt. Mohamed Juma Al Shamisi said, "This cooperation highlights our ongoing commitment to unlocking fresh opportunities globally. Working alongside Saif Powertec Ltd will provide a greater platform for us to offer our world-class services and experience on various projects in Bangladesh."

Managing Director of Saif Powertec Md Ruhul Amin said, "Today is another proud day for us, as we continue our ongoing partnership with AD Ports Group, which could lead us to work together on big projects in Bangladesh. The MoU is yet another indicator of the strength of the relationship between Saif Powertec Ltd. and AD Ports Group and we're looking forward to collaborating for many years to come."

On May 16, a non-binding MoU was signed with Abu Dhabi Port Group to invest in development activities based on partnership with the Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) in Dhaka.
Under the MoU, Abu Dhabi Port Group will invest one billion dollars in the multipurpose terminal that will be built under the management of Chittagong Port at Bay Terminal of the Chittagong Port.
