ADB awards four GTCLs projects

Four gas transmission and pipeline projects of Gas Transmission Company Limited (GTCL), a joint venture company of Bangladesh government and ADB under 'Gas Transmission and Development Project' won awarded from ADB as the 'Best Performing Projects' of the year-2009, according to a press release.
These projects are for increasing gas transmission capacity and developing gas transmission line in the south-western zone of the country. Total 350 km gas pipeline are being constructed under the projects. The projects are Monohardi- Jamuna Project, Bonpara- Rajshahi Project and Bheramara- Khulna Project.
