ADHUNIK selected for World No Tobacco Day Awards

The government has selected ADHUNIK (We Prevent Smoking) for the 'World No Tobacco Day Awards 2014' in recognition of its outstanding contributions to anti-tobacco activities in the country, reports UNB.
A crest and a certificate will be handed over to ADHUNIK Chairman Amanullah Khan at the national programme to be organised at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh at 10: am tomorrow (Saturday), marking the World No Tobacco Day.
Meanwhile, A discussion will be held at the Jatiya Press Club here on Friday with a focus on the theme of the World No Tobacco Day to be observed tomorrow (Saturday), reports UNB.
The discussion will be preceded by a rally and a human chain in front of the club to hammer home the anti-tobacco message.
ADHUNIK (We Prevent Smoking), the nation's first and leading anti-tobacco organisation founded by National Professor Dr Nurul Islam, and the World Health Organization (WHO), will jointly organise the discussion at 4:00 pm.
National Professor Dr MR Khan, also the chairman of Central Hospital, will attend the programme as the chief guest with Amanullah Khan, President of ADHUNIK and Chairman of UNB, in the chair.
