Adivasi cultural festival ends today

The three-day Adivasi Cultural Festival 2009 will conclude at Shilpakala Academy premises in the city today (Saturday), reports UNB.
Society for Environment and Human Development (SEHD), a research NGO, organised the festival with the slogan-'Cultural Diversity is Our Pride'.
Ethnic communities like Santal, Marma, Tanchangya, Khasi, Oraon, Chakma, Khyang, Rakhain, Mahale, Bawm, Tripura, Manipuri, Mandi and Hajong are performing in the three-day cultural programme.
Meanwhile, a photography and Adivasi artifacts exhibitions are also being held.
