Admission permission on DU re-evaluated results sought

Twelve students seeking admission to the business faculty of the Dhaka University (DU) have moved the High Court (HC) to order the DU authorities to issue admission directives in line with the re-evaluated results of the 'Ga' unit test.
"The hearing of the case may take place Tuesday," the students' lawyer, Manjill Morshed, told journalists after he submitted the petition at the bench of justices AHM Shamsuddin Chowdhury and Jahangir Hossain Tuesday, reports bdnews24.com.
The petition comes a day after the vice-chancellor announced that the 'Ga' Unit admission tests would be retaken on December 9 after inconsistencies were found in the question papers.
The petition pressed on two points that stated why the cancellation of the first examination of Ga unit should not be declared 'illegal' and why the authorities will not issue admission directives according to the re-evaluations of the results.
