ADP execution to be 96-97pc this fiscal, JS told

The implementation rate of the Annual Development Programme (ADP) will be hopefully around 96-97 per cent in the current fiscal year (2014-15), reports UNB.
Planning Minister AHM Mustafa Kamal expressed the hope while replying to a supplementary during the question hour in Parliament Monday.
As of June 14 of the last fiscal, some 95 per cent of the ADP allocation for 2013-14 was spent, he said in reply to a starred question of Wasika Ayesha Khan (Women Seat-31).
Replying to another starred question from Didarul Alam (Chittagong-4), the Planning Minister said more than 15 lakh families are landless in the country. "According to the Agri Census 2008 of the Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics, the number of landless families is 15,08,876," he added.
