Advance train tickets sale starts tomorrow

Bangladesh Railway (BR) is all set to start selling of train tickets in advance from Friday (Sept 26) aiming to ease the travel of home-bound people to celebrate Holy Eid-ul-Azha and Saradia Durga Puja. People will be able to buy train tickets of October 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 on Sept 26, 27, 28, 29 and 30 respectively from Dhaka and Chittagong railway stations from 9am to 5pm. A person will be allowed to buy maximum four tickets at a time. Tickets of inter-city trains will be sold from Rajshahi, Khulna, Dinajpur and Lalmonirhat stations to facilitate people who will come back to Dhaka or Chittagong to join their work after vacation and the return tickets will be available from October 3, according a BR release said on Thursday.
