Akij Food and Beverage Limited (AFBL) Thursday launched a voting campaign for powering the country's main sea beach in Cox's Bazar to stand first in the '7 Natural Wonders in the World'.
AFBL, a subsidiary of local conglomerate Akij Group, will encourage general people to vote for the Cox's Bazar beach, said its officials at a press briefing in the capital on the day.
"Two mobile units equipped with internet facility will parade almost every district to boost the voting campaign. It will start from Cox's Bazar," said AFBL senior official Mahboob Jamal.
The campaign will strengthen the chances of Cox's Bazar to become number one and be established as the top tourist spot, he said.
Cox's Bazar, known to be the world's longest natural sandy sea beach, is currently leading the list of natural wonders campaign run by the New7Wonders Foundation.
