Afghan forces to take control in 7 areas

KABUL, Mar 22: Afghan forces will take over control of security for three provinces and four towns from NATO this year, President Hamid Karzai said Tuesday. Afghanistan would notably take "full security responsibility" for most of Kabul province, including the capital, and Lashkar Gah, the capital of the restive southern province of Helmand, Karzai said. -AFP
