Afghanistan emerged group champion in the South Asian Games men's football beating Sri Lanka by 2-0 goals in their last group B match at the MA Aziz Stadium in Chittagong Tuesday, reports UNB.
This was the third successive win for Afghanistan after upsetting India 1-0 in the opening match and beating Pakistan 2-1 in the second match at the same venue.
In the day's match, Belal Arezou scored both the goals for Afghanistan-in the 25th and 52nd minutes.
