'Aggyan Party' kingpin arrested in city

A kingpin of so-called 'Aggyan (unconscious) party', who was reportedly trained in India to dope people unconscious, was arrested from Mohammadpur area in the city Tuesday. He has been identified as Aziz, son of late Hazrat Ali, of Arigaon village in Palang thana of Shariatpur district. He lives at house-328, road-8, Chand Miah Housing in Mohammadpur. A team of DB police raided his house at about 2.0pm and caught Aziz.Police said Aziz had been involved in nefarious practice of making people unconscious for last 27 years. Before joining this vile practice, Aziz himself lost his money and other valuables while traveling to India in 1981. — UNB
