AGM of Mercantile Insurance approves 10pc dividend

Mercantile Insurance will give 10 per cent dividend to its shareholders for the year that ended on December 31, 2006.
It was approved at the 11th annual general meeting of Mercantile Insurance Company Limited held at Engineer's Institution in the city recently.
Company's executive committee Chairman M Kamal Uddin presided over the meeting.
Vice-chairmen Mohammed Hossain and Suraya Karim Munny along with directors Mohammad Solaiman, Md Serajul Islam, Md Mizanur Rahman, Syed Noor Alam, Md Nurul Amin, Abdul Mannan Mazumder, Managing Director Md Nuruzzaman Khan and a large number of shareholders attended the meeting.
