AGM of SME Foundation held

The 5th Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2011 of Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) Foundation was held at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in the city Saturday. SME Foundation chairperson Aftab ul Islam presided over the meeting while managing director and CEO Syed Rezwanul Kabir was present there, said a statement. The AGM approved Board of Director's report along with the audit report of the mentioned year. A large number of general body members spoke at the meetings. Among the directors of SMEF board and members of the general body; Additional Secretary of Industries ministry and SMEF board member ABM Khorshed Alam, board member Ashish Kumar Paul, Prof M Kamal Uddin, Prof Momtaz Uddin Ahmed, Fakhrul Islam, Nasrin Awal Mintu, Parveen Mahmood, Taufique Ahmed Chowdhury, Abdur Razzak, Shaikh Abdus Sobhan, Rokeya Afzal Rahman, Masuda K Rashid Chowdhury of Dhaka University, Plastic Association president Shahidul Islam Helal, EPB Vice Chairman Jalal Ahmed, Joint Stock Companies Registrar Ahmedul Karim, BCSIR Chairman Enamul Huq, were present and spoke in the AGM. - statement
