Agora gives prizes to 206 shoppers

Project manager of World Vision Swapan Richil won a diamond ring by shopping from Agora, the first and largest superstore of the country.
Rahimafrooz Superstores Ltd, the holding company of Agora, run a sales promotion campaign, Diamond Ring Offer, from January 14 to 31 on the occasion of the New Year, under which 206 prizes, including the diamond ring was offered, says a press release.
Niaz Rahim, managing director of Rahimfrooz Superstores Ltd, handed over the prizes to the winners at a function at Agora's Moghbazar outlet Saturday. Agora marketing manager Ruel Abedin, store manager Abu Sayeed Mahmud and high officials of the company, and a large number of shoppers were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
Under the offer, every shopper was given a lucky coupon for purchasing goods worth taka 750 at any of Agora's four outlets. The winning shoppers were selected through a raffle draw of the lucky coupons recently.
Lina Cooraia won the second prize (an N 70 Nokia mobile phone), while Mr Reza got the third prize (a digital camera), Mr Shihab the fourth (a DVD player), Muyeed-bin Sayeed the fifth (an i-pod) and Rashika Osman the sixth one (a hair iron).
The other 200 winners got different prizes.
