Agora signs MoU with Omni for quality vegetables

Rahimafrooz Superstores Limited, the operator of chain superstores Agora, has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Omni Farms, a leading vegetable, fruit and flower farming company of the country, to get supply of high-quality and fresh vegetables.
Managing Director of the Rahimafrooz Superstores Niaz Rahim and Managing Director of the Omni Farms Norbert Mendes signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations in the city Sunday, said a press release.
Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser Raja Debasish Roy was present at the MoU signing ceremony as the chief guest.
Under the MoU, Omni Farms will produce high-quality vegetables at different regions of the country in cooperation with local farmers for Agora.
Omni Farms will also impart training to local farmers on high-quality vegetables farming and take initiatives so that they get fair prices of their produces.
Among others, General Manager of the Agora Kiswar Imdad, Head of Operations Shams Haider, Head of Procurement M Nizam Chowdhury and Head of Marketing Ruhel Abedin were present at the signing ceremony.
