Agora's new outlet at Mirpur soon

Agora, the country's first and largest chain supermarket, will open a new outlet in the city's Mirpur area in the third week of February.
In this connection, Rahimafrooz Superstores Ltd, the owning company of Agora, recently signed an agreement with RP Constructions (Pvt) Ltd for the space of the outlet at Northern Lions RP Tower at Chiriakhana Road (beside Sony Cinema).
Managing Director of Rahimafrooz Superstores Ltd Niaz Rahim and Managing Director of RP Constructions (Pvt) Ltd Farid Ahmed Bhuiyan signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations at Agora head office at Mohakhali.
Head of Operations Shams Haider, Head of Marketing GM Kamrul Islam, Head of Procurement M Nizam Chowdhury and Project Manager Md Enamul Kabir from Agora and Project Manager Ataur Rahman from RP Constructions and other senior officials of both the companies were present on the occasion.
Agora, the country's first supermarket, had set its journey on August 24, 2001 through the launch of its first outlet at Rifles Square at Dhanmondi in the city with the commitment to offer a wide range of quality essential products at fair price, in accurate weight, in hygienic environment and under one roof.
At the initial stage, Agora had around 10,000 products in its offer basket. Now the number of products has increased to around 30,000. In course of time, Agora has expanded its services though setting up outlets at Gulshan Avenue, Moghbazar and Mirpur Road and played a key role in the improvement of quality of products.
Agora has plans to set up another outlet in Chittagong city in March next year.
