Agrani Bank disburses Tk 0.46m loan to farmers

GOPALGANJ May 08: Two branches of Agrani Bank Ltd under Muksudpur Upazila in the district have disbursed Tk 0.46 million (462 thousand) among 50 actually small and marginal farmers for the cultivation of Aus, Aman and jute this season.
Agrani Bank Jhutigram and Jalirpar branches separately disbursed the loan ceremonially recently.
Agrani Bank Jhutigram Branch Manager Md Daud Hossain and Jalirpar Branch Manager Prodip Kumar Das presided over the loan distribution functions.
Agrani Bank Gopalganj zonal office Assistant General Manager Shekhar Chandra Biswas was present as the chief guest at both the programmes.
Bashbaria Union Parishad Chairman Md Samiul Hoque Abul and Jalirpar Union Parishad Chairman Dipok Kumar Baroi were present as special guests.
