Agrani Bank Limited 'Puran Bazar Branch', Hobiganj has recently been renamed as 'Shayestaganj Branch', Hobiganj and transferred to a new location at Station Road, Shayestaganj, said a press release.
Agrani Bank Board of Directors Chairman Siddiqur Rahman Choudhury inaugurated the branch on the new premises recently.
Also present at the inaugural ceremony were Agrani Bank directors Jamilur Rahman Khan and Syed Abdul Muqtadir, Managing Director and CEO Syed Abu Naser Bukhtear Ahmed and General Manger (Sylhet Circle) Md Sirajur Rahman along with bank's concerned executives and officers of the circle and local elite.
Agrani Bank chairman said the bank is firm to serve the nation. He advised the bank authority to take necessary steps to introduce special scheme in the area.
Agrani Bank MD said that necessary steps have been taken for automation and computerisation of all the branches of the bank.
He urged the local patrons and customers to provide suggestions and advice to ensure better customer services.
Transfer of the branch in a new location has created lots of enthusiasm among the people of the locality.
