Agrani Bank holds AGM

The third annual general meeting (AGM) of Agrani Bank Limited was held in the city recently.
Chairman of the board of directors of the bank Dr Khondoker Bazlul Hoque was present at the meeting as the chief guest, said a press release.
Members of the board of directors, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Syed Abdul Hamid, deputy managing directors, general managers and company secretary of the bank, among others, were present at the meeting.
The meeting approved the financial statements of the bank for the year that ended on December 31, 09, reports of the directors and auditors and activities and result achieved during the same period.
Addressing the AGM, Mr Hoque disclosed that the net operating profit of bank increased to Tk 6.44 billion from Tk 6.33 billion in 2008.
