AGRANI BANK'S SHARIAH COMMITTEE MEETING HELD
The 48th meeting of the Shariah Supervisory Committee of the Islamic Banking Unit of Agrani Bank PLC was held at the conference room of the bank's head office in Dhaka recently. Committee Chairman Dr Mufti Muhammad Abu Yusuf, members Dr. Muhammad Zahirul Islam and Mufti Dr. Imam Hossain, and Secretary Md. Nurul Islam attended the meeting. During the meeting, the newly formed Shariah Supervisory Committee members were introduced to the bank's Managing Director Md Anwarul Islam, Deputy Managing Director Parsuma Alam, and General Manager (Islamic Banking) Mohammad Fazlul Karim. The meeting discussed several Shariah-related issues concerning Islamic banking.
