Agrani Ins re-elects Zaker chairman

The board of directors of Agrani Insurance Co Ltd, in its recent meeting, unanimously re-elected Zaker Ahmed as the company's chairman, Mahmudul Hoque as vice chairman-1 and Quazi Sakhawat Hossain (Lintoo) as vice chairman-2.
Zaker Ahmed is a senior chartered accountant, and the founder principal of Ahmed Zaker and Co.
He was former Lions district governor and former chairman of Bangladesh Lions Foundation. He is also the founder chairman of Jamil Eye and General Hospital at Kaliganj in Gazipur.
He received "Commemo-rative Medal of Honour" from the American Biographical Institute for his outstanding achievement in social welfare.
On the other hand, Mahmudul Hoque, a freedom fighter and a sportsman, is the chairman of MHC (Pvt) Ltd, MHC Apparels (Pvt) Ltd, MHC Fashions (Pvt) Ltd, MHC Textile (Pvt) Ltd, Shams D Wears Ltd and Shams D Apparels Ltd.
