Agrani Insurance approves 7.0pc cash dividend

The 8th annual general meeting (AGM) of Agrani Insurance Company Limited approved 7.0 per cent cash dividend for the shareholders concerned for the year 2007.
The AGM was held at the Bangladesh Institute of Administration Management (BIAM) auditorium in the city recently, said a press release.
Chairman of the company Zaker Ahmed presided over the meeting. Vice chairman, directors and managing director (CC) were also present in the AGM.
A large number of shareholders attended the meeting. They expressed their satisfaction at the overall performance of the company.
The AGM adopted the directors' and auditors' reports and also the audited accounts for the year that ended on December 31, 2007.
