Agrani Insurance approves 7pc cash dividend

The seventh Annual General Meeting (AGM)--2006 of Agrani Insurance Company Limited held in the city recently approved 7.0 per cent cash dividend for the year 2006, said a press release.
Chairman of the company Zaker Ahmed presided over the meeting.
Vice Chairman Mahmudul Hoque and Managing Director Mohammad Haroon Patwary spoke on different issues at the AGM.
In his speech the chairman called upon the officials of all sections to make concerted efforts for development, prosperity and progress of the company.
The meeting expressed satisfaction on the overall progress and achievement of the company in comparison with that of last year.
The future plan of the company was also discussed in details.
