Agri fair begins in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Mar 4 (BSS): A 3-day agriculture fair began yesterday on the premises of Sadullapur uapzila parishad with a call to disseminate the knowledge about different varieties of latest agri technologies to the farmers to boost agriculture production.
Sadullapur upazila agriculture office has arranged the fair under the 'Second Crops Diversification Project' that was being implemented in the uapzila since 2011 in a bid to encourage the farmers to produce high value crops.
Dr. M. Younus Ali Sarker, MP, attended the function as chief guest while deputy director of Department of Agriculture Extension (DAE) Mir Abdur Razzak and regional project manager M. Mostafizur Rahman were present as special guests.
