Agri-loan disbursement continues in Barguna

BARGUNA, Jul 26 (BSS): Disbursement of agricultural loan at a minimum interest among the farmers has been progressing fast in five upazilas of the district.
Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB) has fixed up a Tk 440 million (44 crore) loan disbursement target through its five branches in the district during the current fiscal.
Official sources said agri-loan are giving to the farmers for various purposes, including cultivation of Aush, Aman and Boro paddy, wheat, mustered, banana, maize and vegetables, poultry, diary farming, pisciculture and cow-fattening.
