'Agyan Party' hits again in city: one doped to death

An auto-rickshaw driver fell victim to roaming 'agyan-party' operatives, as they allegedly doped him to death in the city's Karwan Bazar area Monday afternoon. Witnesses said, Abdul Kuddus (40), who was in the driving-seat of his CNG-run three-wheeler, "suddenly became senseless, and fell down to the ground" in front of DIT-1 market in the area at about 4:30pm. Finding the fall, locals rushed him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctors declared him dead. — UNB
