Ahteshamul Haque appointed MD & CEO of Dutch-Bangla Bank

Md Ahteshamul Haque Khan joined Dutch-Bangla Bank Limited (DBBL) as its managing director and chief executive officer (CEO) on Saturday, according to a press release.
Prior to this appointment, Mr Khan served as the deputy managing director and chief business officer (CBO) of the bank for nearly six years. He also held the position of chief operating officer (COO). Earlier in his career at DBBL, he worked as manager of several strategically important branches.
Mr Khan joined Dutch-Bangla Bank in 2003 and played a pivotal role in the bank's transformational initiatives, innovation, business expansion, and operational excellence.
With more than 30 years of experience in the banking sector, Mr Khan began his career as an assistant manager (on probation) at Basic Bank in 1995.
