Air Arabia joins Dhaka with Sharjah

Air Arabia, the first and largest low-cost carrier (LCC) in the Middle East and North Africa, launched non-stop service to Dhaka Sunday from the carrier's main hub in Sharjah. Flights will initially operate four times a week.
The inaugural flight took off from Sharjah International Airport and was received upon its arrival by Bangladeshi delegates at Zia International Airport in in the city.
A colourful reception was arranged. Secretary of Bangladesh Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism Syed Mohammad Zobaer received the first flight of Air Arabia as the chief guest of the event.
