Air Chief for quality training to achieve high standard in aviation safety

The Command Safety Seminar-2022 of Bangladesh Air Force (BAF) was held at Falcon Hall in Dhaka Cantonment on Thursday, says a statement.
Chief of Air Staff, Bangladesh Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Shaikh Abdul Hannan, BBP, BUP, nswc, fawc, psc was present at the seminar as the chairman and distributed Flight Safety trophies.
He appreciated all BAF personnel for achieving significant 28,678 safe flying hours in the year 2021 which is the highest in a single year as well as highest flying hour in BAF history despite COVID-19 pandemic situation.
Air Chief said the year was full of events covering operational flying activities.
BAF celebrated Golden Jubilee of the Independence of Bangladesh as well as BAF. BAF made "50", "100" and "101" formation flypast to celebrate the Golden Jubilee of the Independence of Bangladesh as well as BAF and birth centenary of Father of the Nation.
The Chief of Air Staff said that BAF had been gradually transforming from analogue to digital systems in terms of operating aircrafts.
He emphasised on quality training for personnel of all level to achieve high standard in aviation safety.
Bangladesh Air Force Base Bashar was awarded with "Inter-Base Flight Safety Trophy" and 15 Squadron BAF was awarded with "Inter-Squadron Khademul Bashar Flight Safety Trophy" for achieving the highest safe flying hours in the year 2021.
In addition 1, 3, 8, 9, 15, 18, 25, 31 and 35 Squadrons, FIS, 103 ATTU, BAN AVN was awarded with Accident Free Year Award. Senior BAF Officers and Airmen from Air HQ, BAF Base Bashar and BAF Base Bangabandhu were present on the occasion. Personnel from Other BAF Bases were present through Video Tele Conference.
